of Easley Police Department Mission Statement
The Easley Police Department is a multi-service
organization, existing under authority granted by the City of
Easley and the State of South Carolina, that endeavors to
provide a safe, secure community environment through
consistent, impartial enforcement of state and local laws
tempered with compassionate, responsible citizen-oriented
services.
Value Statement
Recognizing that law enforcement is a quasi-military
organization, the Easley Police Department utilizes a balanced
participative-authoritarian approach to organizational
management. The department seeks to recruit, retain, and
promote individuals who demonstrate professional and personal
traits and ideals that include Sobriety,
Honor, Intelligence,
Enthusiasm, Loyalty,
and Dedication to
organizational initiatives. The department expects all
employees to exhibit professional, courteous treatment to all
citizens in need of the services provided by this department.
